Benjamin Cher

Benjamin Cher is a seasoned professional in investments and asset management, currently serving as Vice President at Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd since June 2020, after progressing through various roles within the same organization since 2013. Benjamin has been instrumental in advancing Mapletree's expansion in the data centre industry, notably overseeing global market acquisitions and successfully executing the company’s first overseas acquisition of a US$750 million data centre portfolio. Their extensive experience includes contributions to strategic planning at 3M, financial management consulting for SMEs, and project management for development projects in Malaysia. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Operations Management from Singapore Management University.
