Jonathan Gillis

Jon is MapLight’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all of the Company’s finance functions and leads the management of general and administrative operations.

Jon brings over 15 years of combined public accounting and industry experience to the MapLight team. He joins from OvaScience, where he served as the Senior Vice President of Finance overseeing all finance, human resources, information technology, and legal functions. Jon managed all SEC filings, budgets, and investor relations. He worked directly with the Audit and Compensation Committees and was instrumental in several OvaScience public offerings and the ultimate merger with Millendo Therapeutics. Jon held several roles of increasing responsibility during his tenure including an international assignment to Oxford, UK leading an aggressive international expansion. Previously, Jon was a Senior Manager of External Reporting and Compliance at GFI Software focusing on SEC compliance and preparing the company for its initial public offering. Earlier in his career, Jon was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and held responsibility for all stages of integrated and non-integrated audit engagements with clients ranging from million-dollar private companies to multi-billion-dollar public companies.

He is a certified public accountant. He holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Accounting from Babson College
