Romualdo Monteiro de Barros

Romualdo Monteiro de Barros has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Romualdo'smost recent role is as a System Engineering and Java Development professional at Maplink, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to that, Romualdo worked at BeMobile as a Director, where they were responsible for research and development of IoT technologies and systems, as well as engineering and development of mobile applications and Java backend.

Before joining BeMobile, Romualdo worked at Geograph as a Technical Partner Consultant from June 2018 to November 2019. Romualdo also served as the Head of Sales/Gerente Comercial at Telcom Tower, where they played a significant role in starting up the business and focusing on mobile cell-site tower rental. Romualdo actively sought out business opportunities in RF coverage, analyzed government constructions, and proactively built towers to meet mobile operators' demands.

In their earlier career, Romualdo worked at Networks In Motion (NIM) as the Country Manager for a brief period in 2009. Romualdo then joined Ericsson as the Manager of IMS Expert Center and Developer Connection, where they were responsible for innovation, new business development, and go-to-market strategies. Romualdo also worked as a Business Development Manager at Medidata Informatica SA and as a Technology Manager at Tecnoset IT Solutions.

Romualdo's career started at InteliRedes, a PROLAN Group Company, where they served as the Executive Director and later as the Systems Engineering Manager. During their time at InteliRedes, they were instrumental in creating innovative value-added services for mobile operators, such as the "CUPIDO" and "ROTAS," and coordinating their commercial launch.

Romualdo's work experience also includes a role as CTO (partner) at Flögen Track Ltda. in 2003. Romualdo has consistently demonstrated a strong background in technology, innovation, and business development throughout their career.

Romualdo Monteiro de Barros earned a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidade Gama Filho, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These include the Google Maps Tech Credential Exam from Google in October 2021, Docker from Alura in February 2021, and GIT/GIT HUB from Grupo Alura in October 2020.
