Rajat Kalra

Rajat Kalra has a diverse work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Rajat started their career in 2016 as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at Shivom Engineers Associates Priv Limited. In this role, they gained experience in GIS data management and analysis.

In 2017, Rajat worked as a GIS Consultant at WAPCOS LIMITED JAIPUR, where they were responsible for georeferencing map sheets and satellite images, digitization of khasra maps, and data quality checking. Rajat also gained experience in image classification using ArcGIS.

From 2018 to 2021, Rajat worked at Genesys International Corporation Ltd as an Executive. In this role, they were involved in P2 (Pegasus 2) raw data processing, lidar data classification using Microstation, and 3D building model creation using Rhino and HxMap software.

Currently, Rajat is employed as a GIS Engineer at MapmyIndia, where they are responsible for analyzing and validating databases, coordinating with technicians and analysts for data development, and designing route consistency mapping.

Overall, Rajat has a strong background in GIS, with expertise in data analysis, quality assurance, image classification, and 3D modeling.

Rajat Kalra obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University. Additionally, they pursued a Diploma in architecture with a focus on Layout planning from Govt. Polytechnic Ambala city from 2012 to 2015.
