Joshua Devenyi

Joshua Devenyi has had a varied work experience, beginning with a Media Production Coop role at BlackBerry in 2012. Joshua then completed an Internship at Veritus Pictures in 2014. In 2016, they took on a Paint/Composite Artist role at Stereo D, where they were responsible for deconstructing elements of a shot and compositing them back together. In 2017, they became a Junior Compositor at MPC, where they were trained in skills such as detailed keying and accurate tracking. Joshua then moved to Prime Focus World as a Compositor in the same year. In 2018, they held two roles as a Compositor, first at MPC and then at Double Negative, where they were tasked with detailed keying, intricate paint work and accurate motion tracking. In 2020, they became a Compositor at Framestore, and currently holds two roles as a Web Developer, first at Simplistics Web Design Inc. and then at Mappedin.

Joshua Devenyi began their educational journey in 2011, when they enrolled at York University to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Film Production. Joshua graduated in 2015. Following that, they attended DAVE School to study Visual Effects and Animation, which they completed in 2016. Currently, they are attending Humber College to study Web Development.
