Philip Cooper

Philip Cooper has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Philip started as Kitchen Staff at McDonald's Canada in 2010, then moved to Support Staff at NATO Joint Warfare Centre Norway in 2012. In 2013, they began working as a Developer at MappedIn and Web Developer at MXM Nation. In 2014, they worked as Water Resources Assistant at the City of Waterloo and GIS Assistant at the City of Brantford. In 2018, they worked as an Engineering Sales Assistant at HTS Engineering - Heat Transfer Solutions and Cooperative Education Student at Mott MacDonald. Finally, in 2019 they began working as a Graduate Consultant at Mott MacDonald, where they automated repetitive tasks and processes with VBA, Python, and Power Automate, conducted data analysis with Python in Jupyter Notebook, conducted Carbon Emissions Inventory Analysis, developed data scraping scripts in Python, created Power Apps and Power Bi dashboards, and developed GoogleMaps.js and Leaflet.js web apps in React. In 2022, they began working as a Software Developer at Mappedin.

Philip Cooper graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering.
