Ulkar Akhundzada has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Workshop Assistant for the University of Waterloo CEMC Workshop in Computer Science for Young Women. In 2015, they founded and worked as a Mobile Developer for Piyada Interactive. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at GBL, first as a Software Development Team Lead and then as a Front End Developer. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Engineering, Software Development Manager, and Software Developer at Mappedin.
Ulkar Akhundzada attended the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science in the field of Computer Science. Ulkar also attended Sir John A Macdonald Secondary School from 2008 to 2011.
