George Bettany

George Bettany is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and co-founding organizations within the business sector. Currently, George serves as the Founder of MARA since January 2023 and holds the role of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Staffordshire University. Previously, George co-founded Sanctus, active from November 2016 to January 2025, and was also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Ignite Accelerator from January 2016 to January 2017. Earlier ventures include co-founding Matchchat from September 2012 to December 2015. George's educational background includes a degree in BA Hons, Business Management from The University of Sheffield and a course in International Business Management at EDHEC Business School in Lille, France.
