Michaela Scherger

Michaela Scherger, CPA, currently serves as Controller and previously as Assistant Controller at Mara Renewables Corporation since August 2021. Prior to this role, Michaela worked at PwC from September 2017 to August 2021, progressing from Assurance Associate to Experienced Senior Associate. Additional experience includes managerial and customer service roles in the restaurant and hospitality industries, as well as academic positions at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant with certification achieved between 2017 and 2019.
