Inga Marchetti has worked in the food industry since 2014. Inga began their career at Scotherbs as an Industrial Placement Student, where they worked closely with the Technical Manager and updated Quality Documents, specifications and data loggers. Inga then moved to the role of Quality Assessor at Scotherbs. In 2015, Inga joined Mara Seaweed as a Technical Manager, where they implemented and managed SOP's, HACCP plans, policies, production documents, product and packaging specifications, and Food Safety Manuals to meet international food safety standards. Mara Seaweed was the first seaweed company to achieve SALSA certification in December 2015. In 2018, Inga took on the role of Interim Food Safety Officer at Warburtons, and in 2020 they returned to Mara Seaweed as Technical Manager.
Inga Marchetti attended Abertay University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with honours in Food Product Design. Inga also attended \"Ausra\" Gymnasium from 1999 to 2011, where they obtained a High School degree. In addition, Marchetti has obtained several certifications, including Internal Auditor from Warburtons in 2018, HACCP Level 4 from RSPH Qualifications in 2017, SALSA HACCP Level 2 from SALSA Technologies Ltd in 2016, SALSA food labelling from SALSA Technologies Ltd in 2015, and ISO 22000 Lead Auditor - Food safety Certification from Libero assurance in 2020.
