Ioannis-Georgios Stamou

Ioannis-Georgios Stamou has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Fleet Manager, Technical Superintendent, and New-building Supervisor at Maran Tankers Management Inc. since November 2015, overseeing the construction and management of 21 Crude Oil Tankers, including 17 VLCCs and 4 Suezmaxes. Previous roles at Maran Tankers include Marine Engineer internships where Ioannis-Georgios contributed to various aspects of maintenance planning, underwater hull cleaning reports, and the creation of Ballast Water Management Treatment manuals. Ioannis-Georgios holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, earned between 2009 and 2014, and attended The American College of Greece from 2001 to 2008.
