Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson has extensive work experience as a head football coach in various high schools. Matt first worked at Amphitheater Public Schools as the Head Football Coach at Ironwood Ridge High School from April 2009 until February 2022. Matt then moved on to the Marana Unified School District in February 2019 to take on the role of Head Football Coach at Mountain View High School.

Matt Johnson began their education journey in 1992 at Northern Arizona University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Secondary Education and Teaching. Matt completed their undergraduate degree in 1997. Following the completion of their bachelor's degree, Matt continued their education at Northern Arizona University, earning a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from 1997 to 2002.
