Simrit Khalsa

Simrit Khalsa is an experienced school psychologist currently working at Sunnyside Unified School District since July 2022, after serving as a school psychologist intern at Marana Unified School District from July 2021 to May 2022. Prior to these roles, Simrit worked as a substitute teacher at Tucson Unified School District from March 2020 to June 2021 and held various positions at Arizona's Children Association, including parent aide and youth advocate. Simrit's background also includes experience as a family support specialist at Parent Aid - Child Abuse Prevention Center and administrative roles at YMCA of Southern Arizona and Spirit Voyage Live Events. Simrit holds an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the same institution, along with earlier education at Northern New Mexico Community College and Miri Piri Academy.
