Ted Brandt began their work experience in 1995 at Prime Capital, where they served as the SVP Vendor Leasing. During their time there, they successfully built and expanded the Vendor Leasing Company and closed multiple program financings with major manufacturers in various industries such as software, medical, hotel, and computer.
In 1997, Ted joined Transamerica Financial Services as the SVP General Manager. Ted held this role until 1999.
In 1999, Ted joined Marathon Capital, LLC as the Principal and Chief Executive Officer. Ted played a crucial role in the firm's M&A advisory, capital acquisition, fairness opinions, and valuation analysis services. Ted focused on the renewable energy sector, leading Marathon Capital to become one of the most active North American renewable energy banks. Ted was responsible for delivering senior-level commitment to client firms and their boards in this role.

Ted Brandt completed their BA in Economics at Oberlin College in 1984. Ted then pursued their MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, graduating in 1987.
