Travis Ely

Travis Ely has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Travis is currently the Director of Business Development at Marathon Digital Holdings since 2023. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Business Development at Lancium from 2021 to 2023. Before that, they were a Business Development Manager at Bitmain from 2018 to 2021, where they focused on mining farm site selection, partner relations, and expanding Bitmain's influence. Travis also worked as a Fintech & Blockchain Consultant for multiple clients as a private contractor from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they held positions as a Program Director/Project Manager at Elite Education Global from 2013 to 2017, and as an Asia-Pacific Representative at Grand Canyon Tour Company from 2012 to 2013. Travis began their career as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist at Bountiful Family Services from 2010 to 2012, providing one-on-one skills training and developing treatment plans. Travis also has experience as an Administrative Staff at the US Census Bureau in 2010 and as a Tour Guide/Safety Instructor at Bootleg Canyon Flightlines from 2008 to 2010. Travis started their professional journey as a Full-Time Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taiwan from 2005 to 2007, where they shared the gospel and served local communities.

Travis Ely obtained a Bachelor's degree in Asian Studies and Mandarin Chinese from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2008 to 2011. Travis also participated in a USAC Study Abroad Program at Shanghai University in 2008, focusing on East Asian Studies and Mandarin Chinese.
