Marco Galego

Marco Galego, CPA, CA, currently serves as Vice President Finance at Calibre Mining Corp, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Marco held roles at Marathon Gold Corp (MOZ) from January 2020, including Vice President, Finance & Controller and Controller & Treasurer. At Golden Star Resources Ltd., Marco was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis from 2016 to 2020, and served as Manager of Financial Reporting at Lundin Mining Corporation from 2014 to 2016. Marco's earlier experience includes the role of Corporate Controller at Colossus Minerals Inc. from 2011 to 2014, and an audit position at KPMG from 2006 to 2010. Marco obtained an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University between 2002 and 2006 and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 2009.
