Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson, MD, FAAFP, CPE has extensive work experience in the medical field. Brian started their career in 1990 as a Family Physician/Owner of Brian A Johnson MD PC, providing comprehensive medical care including minor procedures and hospital duties. In 2008, they worked as an Emergency Room Physician at EmCare. From 2011 to 2022, they served as the Regional Clinical Leader and later became the Regional Vice President of Clinical Leadership at Marathon Health, focusing on delivering advanced primary care in the employer-sponsored wellness environment. Additionally, they worked at OurHealth as a Co-Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, and Regional Clinical Leader from 2011 to 2021, providing primary care, preventive care, acute care, and long-term disease management to covered employees and dependents.

Brian Johnson, MD, FAAFP, CPE completed their education at Oral Roberts University, where they earned an MD degree in Medicine between the years 1983 and 1987. Following that, they pursued an internship at Ball Memorial Hospital from 1987 to 1988, specializing in the Family Medicine Residency Program. Brian further continued their residency training at Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama from 1988 to 1990, focusing on the Family Medicine Residency Program. In addition to their education, they have obtained the certification of Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the American Association for Physician Leadership® in 2021. It is not indicated whether they have obtained certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.
