James R. Wilkins

James R. Wilkins is the Vice President of Environment, Safety and Security at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. James has been with Marathon Petroleum Corporation for over 20 years, starting in 1990 as a Field Engineer. In 1993, they became an Environmental Supervisor and then Environmental Professional in 1999. In 2006, they were promoted to Corporate Refining HES Director and then to their current position in 2016.

James R. Wilkins earned their undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

James R. Wilkins works with Brian K. Partee - SVP Marketing, Richard A. Hernandez - SVP Eastern Refining Operations, and Suzanne Gagle - VP & General Counsel. James R. Wilkins reports to Michael J. Hennigan, President and CEO.
