Jim Greenwell

Jim Greenwell is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Senior Tax Director at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities include leading Tax Planning and M&A as well as Partnership and State Tax. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Senior Tax Director at Phillips 66, managing both International and Domestic Tax as well as serving as Tax Director and Senior Tax Adviser. Additional experience includes a role as Tax Strategy Planning Manager at Bechtel Corporation and various tax positions in public accounting and industry from 2007 to 2012. Jim holds a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, and has completed the Executive Development Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
