Jessica McKinney, PT, DScPT, MS has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy and global health. Jessica is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Global Health at Axena Health since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at The National Association for Continence (NAFC) starting from October 2022.
In 2017, Jessica co-founded Mama, LLC, where they provided technical assistance to EngenderHealth, Fistula Care Plus, USAID for women's health service integration. Jessica also acted as a strategic partner to Panzi Hospital and Foundation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, advising and collaborating on programs for women surviving sexual violence and obstetric injuries.
Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Andrews University since September 2019, where they were involved in teaching courses related to women's health in the Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy program. Jessica is also a Co-Founder of Marathon Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, LLC since April 2004.
Jessica previously held the position of VP Medical Affairs and Clinical Advocacy at Renovia Inc from December 2017 to August 2022. Jessica has also founded Share MayFlowers in 2012 and worked as a Physical Therapist at SRI Physical Therapy from 2000 to 2003.

Jessica McKinney, PT, DScPT, MS received their education in the field of physical therapy. Jessica completed their Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University, a program which spanned from 1994 to 2000. Jessica subsequently pursued a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Women's Health at Andrews University, expected to be completed in 2021.

Marathon’s sole purpose is to provide exceptional, progressive and cost-effective performance, fitness, wellness, athletic training, and outpatient rehabilitation through personalized care that emphasizes patient education and prevention of future injury. Marathon Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was founded in 2004 by physical therapists with a the vision of an environment where exceptional quality and broad-based out-patient physical therapy merges seamlessly with programs in our clinics and surrounding communities to develop meaningful relationships that exist separate from or in addition to an injury or illness-related episode. Marathon truly exists to be “Keeping you well throughout the race of life”, whether that “race” is keeping up with your grandchildren, hiking Mount Washington, having the greatest garden in the neighborhood, or competing in your first or 101st triathlon.
