E. Colby Wilson

Vice President Of Communications at Marathon Strategies

E. Colby Wilson has extensive experience in the field of communications and media. They began their career as a Contributing Investigative Reporter for The Uptown Messenger, where they investigated the disappearance of a rookery of birds. They then transitioned to NOLA Media Group as a Contributing Reporter.

In 2012, they worked as a Reporter & Producer for PBS Washington Week, where they focused on the 2012 GOP Primaries in Louisiana and reported from locations affected by the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. They also served as an Assistant Editor for Loyola University's nationally recognized newspaper, City Beat, where they covered breaking news on education policies and legislation in New Orleans.

In the same year, Wilson joined WWL-TV as an Associate Producer, producing news segments and scripting stories. They later became a Producer, responsible for quality news, sports, and feature stories. At the same time, they worked as a Field Producer, providing onsite production and communications support for major events.

From 2013 to 2021, Wilson worked at NY1 News, progressively taking on more senior roles. They began as a Producer, bringing stories from concept to air and working in fast-paced breaking news situations. They then became a Senior Producer, launching live shows and presenting live reports at the New York Stock Exchange. Wilson further advanced to the role of Executive Producer, using social media to boost audience engagement and coordinating sponsored initiatives.

Currently, Wilson serves as the Vice President of Communications at Marathon Strategies LLC, a position they have held since 2022.

E. Colby Wilson completed a Master's degree in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, between 2010 and 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and English from Loyola University New Orleans. Additionally, E. Colby Wilson attended Williston Northampton School from 2003 to 2007, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
