I-Han Cheng

I-Han (Gena) Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. I-Han (Gena) has held roles at various companies, including Maravai LifeSciences, Silvergate Bank, 24 Hour Fitness, OneRoof Energy, Inc., ViaSat, KPMG, and Hinzman & Associates.

At Maravai LifeSciences, they are currently serving as the Senior Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Financial Reporting at the same company.

During their time at Silvergate Bank, I-Han served as the VP and Assistant Controller. I-Han (Gena) led the accounting team through S-1 Registration Statement filings, resulting in a successful IPO. I-Han (Gena) was responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and managing internal and external financial reporting and regulatory deadlines.

At 24 Hour Fitness, they worked as the Manager of Revenue Recognition, where they were responsible for accurately reporting annual revenue of $1.5 billion and managing various revenue streams and arrangements.

At OneRoof Energy, Inc., they served as the Senior Manager of Fund Accounting, overseeing the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, as well as internal and external financial reporting.

I-Han (Gena) also worked as a Senior Revenue Accountant at ViaSat, a global communications company, and as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG, where they provided audit services to public multinational companies and private companies.

Prior to that, I-Han started their career at Hinzman & Associates, a local CPA firm specializing in audit and tax services, where they performed audits and reviews for businesses across multiple industries and prepared tax returns.

I-Han (Gena) Cheng obtained a Masters of Science degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University in 2005. Additionally, they have a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
