Marble Collegiate Church
Leon Nicholas Kalas is a seasoned visual artist and independent curator with extensive experience in the art world. Currently serving as a visual artist at Art Symposiums and Marble Collegiate Church since May 2009 and January 2017 respectively, Kalas actively participates in art discussions and exhibitions. As an independent curator at STUDIO 149 since 2004, Kalas champions artist freedom while providing critical support in the artistic process. Notable exhibition participation includes international events in Morocco, Romania, and Cuba. Previous roles include working in the Education Department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from 2005 to 2007 and serving as an art instructor for senior citizens at SAGE Queens from 2004 to 2005. Educational background includes multiple terms at the New York Academy of Art and the Art Student's League of New York.

Marble Collegiate Church
Marble Collegiate Church is a diverse, vibrant place of connection and community offering positive spiritual direction. Under the leadership of Dr. Michael B. Brown, Marble offers traditional services every Sunday at 11am, Contemporary services Wednesdays at 6:15pm and Jazz Worship at 6:15pm every first and third Friday. Marble has one of the only walkable permanent Labyrinth’s in New York City, and is open for walking the first Sunday of the month from 1-3pm and every Wednesday from 5-6pm. The church offers music performances throughout the year with world class musicians that perform with The Marble Choir and our award winning Marble Community Gospel Choir. There is something for everyone at Marble.
