MARCANTONIO CENTURIONS MARCANTONIO Centurions program will be designed to ensure that each of the 14 critical technology areas vital to maintaining the United States' national security is led by a MARCANTONIO Centurion. The Centurion will be an experienced and knowledgeable expert in their respective technology area, with a proven track record of success in advancing critical technologies. Each MARCANTONIO Centurion will be responsible for guiding small defense businesses through the complex DoD innovation ecosystem and MARCANTONIO programs within their technology area. They will work closely with small businesses to identify promising new technologies and help them access the resources and expertise they need to bring those technologies to market. The MARCANTONIO Centurions will also work together as a team to ensure that the Department's technology strategy is aligned with emerging trends and changes in technology. They will collaborate with the Department's technology leadership to identify new technology areas and help shape the Department's technology priorities. MARCANTONIO Centurions program will be structured as a series of initiatives, each focused on a specific technology area. Each initiative will be led by a MARCANTONIO Centurion, who will be responsible for ensuring that the initiative is aligned with the Department's technology strategy and goals. The program will also include a strong emphasis on effective adoption areas, with MARCANTONIO Centurions working to ensure that new technologies are integrated into the Department's operations in a way that maximizes their impact. Through the MARCANTONIO Centurions program, the Department will accelerate the transition of key capabilities to the Military Services and Combatant Commands.
