Jonathan Lam

Welcome Team/mass Call Lead, New York State MFOL Member at March For Our Lives

Jonathan Lam is an accomplished youth advocate and organizer with extensive experience in social justice initiatives, particularly in gun violence prevention and civil liberties. Currently serving as a Youth Collective Member at Amnesty International USA, Jonathan leads and collaborates on campaigns addressing issues such as over-policing, youth activism, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Community Organizing Coordinator at the New York Civil Liberties Union and Project Team Lead Organizer at March For Our Lives, where Jonathan coordinated national youth volunteer efforts. Jonathan also holds positions as a Laidlaw Research and Leadership Scholar, Youth Policy Advisor for The Gathering for Justice, and participated in the United Nations Foundation's Human Rights Drafting Committee. Jonathan is pursuing a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, with a focus on pre-law studies, while actively engaging in research on migrant labor market discrimination.
