Nava Gharaei

Scientific Director, Discovery at March Therapeutics

Nava Gharaei has an extensive work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Researcher at DTU Bioengineering. Nava then worked as a Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology from 2009-2012. During that time, they were also a PhD Candidate and Cambridge Chair of Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE) at Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. From 2017-2019, they held various roles including Curriculum Developer at Amgen, Editor at Cell Press, and Editorial Staff at the Journal of Emerging Investigators, Inc. Nava also served as Director of Career Development at Harvard GSAS Business Club and IMPACT Program Peer Mentor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Most recently, they have been a Lead Scientist at March Therapeutics, Inc. since 2021.

Nava Gharaei holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Harvard University, a Master of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran. Additionally, they have obtained a Mini MBA from the Harvard GSAS Business Club and a Physiology Course from the Marine Biological Laboratory.
