Alexander Stock

Alexander Stock is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the fields of gastronomy and renewable energy. Currently serving as a Sommelier WSET 3 at Freischaffend since March 2022, Alexander is dedicated to becoming the world's first sober sommelier, emphasizing low and no alcohol beverages. Previously, Alexander held various positions including Gastronomiearbeiter at Marché International and Sommelier at Weingut Thürkind. Alexander's extensive experience in renewable energies includes serving as CEO of Independent Energy, where project development and management were key responsibilities, as well as roles in project management and sales for several companies focused on sustainable energy solutions. Academically, Alexander is pursuing a Betriebswirt in Gastronomiesystem-Verwaltung/-Management and holds several relevant qualifications, including a WSET Level 3 in Weinanbau und Önologie and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technische Physik.
