Matthew Wiesemann

Matthew Wiesemann has a comprehensive work experience in the technical operations and information technology fields. Matthew currently serves as the Director of Technical Operations at Marchex since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Marchex from January 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Marchex, Matthew held various positions at CallCap, Inc. where they showcased their expertise in network management and systems administration. Matthew served as the Director of Information Technology from February 2011 to July 2019, ensuring the stability and advancement of the company's network. Additionally, they worked as a Network and Systems Engineer from August 2009 to February 2011, and as a Network and Systems Administrator from February 2008 to August 2009.

Matthew began their career at Cisco Systems in September 2006 as a Customer Support Engineer, where they addressed customer queries related to Cisco switches and routers. Prior to this, they worked as a Cisco Lab Technician at Metropolitan Community College from August 2005 to July 2006, where they maintained lab equipment and supported instructors and students with their Cisco labs.

Matthew Wiesemann attended Metropolitan Community College-Business & Technology from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Computer Science and Information Systems. Matthew then transferred to Wichita State University from 2006 to 2007, majoring in Computer Engineering. In addition to their education, Matthew obtained several certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate in 2006, Building Cisco Multi-layered Switched Networks (CCNP) and Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (CCNP) in 2007, and Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator in 2011. Matthew also holds certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA i-Net+ in 2005, and CompTIA A+ in 2005.
