Andy Kretschmar

Andy Kretschmar is a Senior DevOps Engineer currently working for Marco Polo. Andy has held a variety of software engineering roles over the years, beginning with an internship at The Gossamer Group in 2006. In 2007, they became a Software Engineer at Chicago Trading Company, and in 2011 they moved to Macheen Inc as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2014, Macheen Inc was acquired by Good Technology, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer until 2015, when they joined BlackBerry as a Senior Systems Software Engineer. In 2016, they moved to HomeAway.com as a Staff Software Engineer and founded Fourth & Five Software LLC, where they served as a Founder and Software Architect. In 2019, they joined Bestow Life Insurance as a Site Reliability Engineer, and in 2021 they joined Marco Polo as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Andy Kretschmar attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics and German.
