Arcola McHugh has held a variety of positions in the tech industry since 1997. Starting as a Developer on the Quick Response Team for General Electric Support Services in Darien CT, McHugh then moved to Development Manager positions at RegionalHelpWanted.com and OnTargetJobs. In 2010, McHugh took on the role of Technical Lead at OnTargetJobs, where they supported and enhanced an AWS hosted Python/Django website with back-end SQL Server RDS and PostgreSQL databases, as well as converting dynamic Help Wanted websites from ColdFusion to Python using a Django framework. In 2017, McHugh became a Web Developer at Girls World Expo, where they were part of a small team responsible for building a new website using Python 3.6 and Django 2.1 with a PostgreSQL database utilizing Docker containers. Finally, in 2014, McHugh took on the role of Technical Lead at RegionalHelpWanted, Inc., where they worked with a team of developers to convert dynamic Help Wanted websites from ColdFusion to Python using a Django framework, and leveraged their in-depth knowledge of business rules to guide the team in the website conversion. In 2019, McHugh became a Server Engineer at Marco Polo.
Arcola McHugh attended Marist College where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Arcola'story and also completed Graduate Coursework in Computer Science and Software Development.
