Nishit Patel

Nishit Patel began their career in 2012 as a Computer Programmer for Student Information Systems at York University. During their time there, they designed and performed QA testing for Documents on Web application, assisted in redesigning the application deployment process, and introduced Powershell based automated UI testing.

In 2014, they joined IBM as a Software Developer. Nishit worked under the Scrum/Agile framework, adopted SoftLayer, S3, and zD&T as their provisioning backend, and adopted Jenkins (Java, RTC, Perl, and Bash) to integrate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD). Nishit also tested, created, and deployed z/OS PTFs and Unix tarballs product update packages for IBM Systems Compiler products.

In 2020, they moved to Ada as a Senior Software Engineer and Back End Developer.

Finally, in 2022, they joined Marco Polo as a Senior Backend Software Engineer.

Nishit Patel attended York University from 2010 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.Sc.) Specialized Honors in Computer Science.
