Gonzalo Eyzaguirre

Gonzalo Eyzaguirre is an experienced executive in the mining sector with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as General Manager at Minera Yanacocha since May 2023 and as Gerente General de Operaciones at Marcobre since September 2020, Gonzalo has held several key leadership positions. Previous roles include Assistant Vice President Operations at Fresnillo PLC, Vice President Operations at Compañía de Minas Buenaventura, and General Manager at Sociedad Minera El Brocal. Gonzalo's extensive experience also includes significant tenures at GOLD FIELDS, where multiple managerial roles were undertaken, and an earlier period at Minera Yanacocha in various supervisory capacities. Gonzalo holds an MBA from York University, completed a General Management Program at Harvard University, and earned an engineering degree in Mines from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
