Alex Schaefer

Alex Schaefer is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Managing Director of Investments at Marcus Partners since October 2025. Prior to this role, Alex was Vice President of Transactions in Real Estate at AXA Investment Managers from January 2021 to October 2025, contributing to the largest real estate asset manager in Europe. Alex also held the position of Vice President, Acquisitions and Capital Markets at TKF Real Estate Investment, LLC, and was Head of Acquisitions at ALTO Real Estate Funds. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of Real Estate Acquisitions at VEREIT, Senior Financial Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, Senior Accountant at Beanstalk, Tax Accountant at GSC Group, and an Audit Intern at KPMG US. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
