Arnar Thor Másson

Arnar Thor Másson is the current Vice Chairman at Marel. Prior to this, they were with Nordic Ignite, Íslandshótel, Festa Center for Sustainability, Siminn, and Self Employed. From October 2019 to August 2020, they served as the Chief Human Resources and Strategy Officer at Isavia. From August 2016 to August 2019, they were an Alternate Director on the Board of Directors at EBRD. From June 2010 to July 2016, they were the Director General at the Prime Ministers Office.

Arnar Thor Másson has a Master of Science in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Arnar also holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Háskóli Íslands. In addition, Arnar Thor Másson has completed courses on Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance at Harvard Business School and High Performance Boards at IMD.
