Ton Van Der Laan

Ton Van Der Laan is currently the Director at Marel. Ton has previous experience working as an Internal Audit Manager at R.J. Reynolds and as an External Consultant for various medium-sized companies, Shell, and Philips. For Andersen Consulting, they worked as a Senior Consultant. Throughout their various positions, they have been responsible for operational audits, the development of audit methodologies, management of world-wide audit training programmes, and projects in production, logistics and sales. Ton is multilingual, speaking English and German fluently. Van Der Laan has a long history of successfully implementing recommendations for improvement within the companies they have worked for.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Ton Van Der Laan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in finance from the University of Rochester. Ton followed that up with a Master's degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
