Jean-Philippe Fontaine has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jean-Philippe began their career at Capitol Records as a Staff Assistant in Publicity/Media Relations, where they provided project support and managed media relationships. Jean-Philippe then moved on to Art Center College of Design as a Staff Assistant in Educational Initiatives, where they researched and developed new initiatives and managed budget for special programs. Jean-Philippe later worked at Young Achievers Science & Math Pilot School as a First Grade Community Teacher, where they taught various subjects and coordinated the implementation of a new math curriculum. Jean-Philippe then joined The Center for Early Education as a Kindergarten Fellow, teaching fundamentals and revising the school's technology plan. Jean-Philippe further expanded their role in the education sector at Sequoyah School, starting as an Educational Technology Coordinator and eventually becoming the Director of Technology. In this role, they provided training and support for faculty and students in utilizing technology for teaching and learning. Currently, Jean-Philippe is the Director of Information Services and Technology at Maret School.

Jean-Philippe Fontaine has a Master of Arts degree in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's Degree in Community Studies from UMass Boston.
