Carsten Hils

Carsten Hils has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Co-Head Global Payments at Marex since June 2025. Prior to this role, Hils held the position of Global Head Payments Division at StoneX Group Inc. from July 2003 until June 2024. Hils's career began at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where a role as a Currency Trader was followed by a stint as a Senior Currency and Derivatives Trader. Additional experience includes roles at Citi as a Currency, Option and Interest Rate Trader and at Standard Bank Group as a Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing a hedge fund focused on emerging market currency. Hils also managed the Foreign Exchange and Money Markets Desk in the Americas during a significant tenure at Standard Bank Group.
