Chris Hannaford

Chris Hannaford currently serves as the Head of Surveillance at Marex, a position held since November 2025. Prior to this role, Chris was the EMEA Head of Surveillance at Nomura from November 2019 to July 2025 and held various surveillance leadership positions at Barclays Investment Bank, including EME Head of Surveillance and EME Head of Trade Surveillance. Earlier in the career, Chris was the EME Head of Fixed Income Trade Surveillance at Barclays from 2013 to 2016, and before that, served as Market Operations Manager and Senior Futures/Options Analyst at the New York Stock Exchange from 1998 to 2012. Chris began the professional journey as a Senior Pit Official on the trading floor at LIFFE from 1992 to 1998.
