On the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Dr. Rebecca Adami (SOAS Research Associate & University of Stockholm) and Fatima Sator (SOAS Research Associate) presented their research on "Women Founders of the UN" at the CISD Center for International Studies and Diplomacy,  SOAS University of London. 

As a header image, I chose a photograph from the UN archives; an intentional choice reflecting the heart of my work: creating spaces for voices and narratives that need to be heard, uncovering missing stories, and working across languages and cultures at the intersection of the social, cultural, political and historical dimensions of our collective life.

Their research sheds light on an overlooked chapter of our shared history  including the decisive role of Indian reformer Hansa Jivraj Mehta, who ensured the declaration speaks of human rights, not merely men's rights.

This work fuels mine. With 20 years of international experience as a free lance intercultural Facilitator, Conference Moderator and Consultant and Storyteller, I work in English, French and German, in the public and private sectors.
