Yosef Tyson

Yosef Tyson has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Yosef currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Capio Partner, focusing on driving medical development and strategy in privately financed care partnerships. Prior to this, Yosef was a PhD student at Uppsala University, conducting epidemiological research in total hip arthroplasty. Yosef has also worked as a consultant and a quality assessor of orthopedic training. Additionally, Yosef served as a Medical Development Lead at GHP Specialty Care. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a specialist in orthopedic surgery and as a junior doctor/intern physician at Akademiska sjukhuset. Yosef has a keen interest in healthcare leadership and management and has had rotations with the hospital executive board.

Yosef Tyson earned a Master's degree in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet, attending the school from 2005 to 2011. In 2010 to 2011, Yosef also pursued a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Moreover, Yosef obtained additional certifications including "Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery" from Socialstyrelsen in August 2019 and "M.D." from Socialstyrelsen in November 2013.
