Karen Albert, CIA, CRMA, is an accomplished internal audit professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Karen serves as the Founding Member of Internal Audit Collective since January 2025 and a Board Member for the University of Maryland College Park BSOS Board of Visitors and Marian House. Karen's ongoing position as Vice President & Head of Internal Audit at Constellium started in April 2021, following a successful tenure at W. R. Grace & Co. that included roles such as Senior Director of Internal Audit and Chief Audit Executive. Karen’s early career includes significant contributions at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Internal Audit and Risk Assurance, alongside previous positions at Mercantile Bankshares Corp. and involvement with the IIA Baltimore Chapter. Educationally, Karen holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Bakersfield.
