Chunhui Huang

Chunhui Huang currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Chemistry at Mariana Oncology, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Chunhui Huang was a Principal Scientist at Exo Therapeutics from March 2022 to November 2022 and spent eight years at Merck, ascending from Senior Scientist to Associate Principal Scientist between May 2014 and March 2022. Chunhui Huang's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate at the California Institute for Biomedical Research and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute, focusing on drug conjugates for metabolic disease treatment. Education includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago, completing methodology development under Professor Vladimir Gevorgyan’s supervision, as well as a Master’s in Inorganic Chemistry from Nanjing University, where Chunhui Huang discovered a copper-mediated C-S bond cleavage reaction.
