Marianist Province of the United States
Bernadette Groner has a solid background in communications and development, with experience in various roles at different organizations. Bernadette began their career at the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate as a Writer/Editor from 2001 to 2007. In 2008, they joined YWCA Metro St. Louis as an Assistant Director of Development, where they were responsible for managing Raiser's Edge Database, annual fund solicitations, and digital communications. Bernadette also supported the Chief Development Director and managed events and committees. From 2012 to 2016, Groner worked at St. Andrew's Resources for Seniors System as a Grants & Communications Manager and later as an Annual Fund Manager for St. Andrews Charitable Foundation. In 2012, they briefly served as the Director of Resource Development at Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center. Since 2018, Groner has been working at the Marianist Province of the United States, initially as a Communications Manager and currently as the Director of Communications.

Marianist Province of the United States
The Society of Mary was founded in France in 1817 by Blessed William Joseph Chaminade. More than 300 Marianist brothers and priests comprise the Province of the United States. They serve in communities and ministries from Honolulu to Puerto Rico and in Eastern Africa, India, Ireland and Mexico. In the United States, Marianists sponsor the University of Dayton in Ohio, St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Chaminade University of Honolulu, 18 high schools, seven parishes and four retreat centers.
