Matthieu Giroux

Matthieu Giroux is an experienced journalist and editorial director, currently serving as a freelance journalist for Le Monde and Usbek & Rica since September and May 2021, respectively. Matthieu has also contributed to Marianne and Socialter since April and September 2019, as well as holding the position of editorial director at PHILITT since September 2013. Previously, Matthieu worked as a bookseller at Librairie Compagnie and Librairie Les Nouveautés in 2019 and 2018, respectively, and served in various bookseller roles at Albin Michel and GIBERT JOSEPH PARIS. Matthieu's journalism career began at Atlantico from March 2015 to June 2016. Educationally, Matthieu holds three Master's degrees in Journalism from ESJ Paris, and Philosophy from both University College Dublin and Université Paris-Sorbonne.
