Ramesh Iyer

Ramesh Iyer has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Ramesh has worked as a Product Portfolio Director at MariApps Marine Solutions, where they focused on developing new products in the marine domain. Prior to that, they were a Business Analyst and Process Consultant at BSM Technology Solutions Delivery Centre, where they identified and defined business requirements for technology-enabled processes in the maritime industry. Ramesh also worked as a Technical Consultant at SpecTec, where they provided pre-sales consulting, business process analysis, and solution feasibility study services. Additionally, Ramesh has worked as a Business Analyst at Inchcape Shipping Services and as a Functional Consultant at Shipnet India Pvt. Ltd., where they were involved in software configuration, database development, and on-site rollout. Ramesh also has experience as a Planned Maintenance Systems Engineer, Second Assistant Engineer, and Marine Engineer at Maersk Line, where they implemented and updated maintenance and inventory management systems onboard vessels. Ramesh started their career as an Associate at Wipro BPS.

Ramesh Iyer completed their B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala, from 1996 to 2000. In 2005, they obtained an STCW License in Marine Engineering from South Tyne side College. Additionally, in 2001, Ramesh studied at the Sinagpore Maritime Academy, where they received a Graduate Marine Engineer degree with a focus on Class 5 Certificate of Comptency.
