Karen Titchener

Vice President Hospital at Home Operations at Maribel Health

Karen Titchener has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, focusing on the development and implementation of Hospital at Home programs. Karen is currently the Vice President of Hospital at Home Operations at Maribel Health since February 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Huntsman Cancer Institute, starting in 2017. Karen served as the Director of Strategic Development for Hospital at Home and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Karen also held the position of Director of Hospital at Home and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing. Before joining Huntsman Cancer Institute, Karen was the Director of Hospital at Home/Associate Professor at the University of Utah Health from February 2017. Their responsibilities included coordinating the development and implementation of Hospital at Home programs. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Head of Nursing/Clinical Lead for Hospital at Home 24/7 at Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust, where they established a multidisciplinary team to prevent unnecessary acute admissions and facilitate early discharge. Karen also has experience as a Clinical Manager for Intermediate Care at Ealing Hospital Trust and as a Domiciliary Practitioner and Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Maywood Health Care.

Karen Titchener completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the University of Brighton from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Surrey from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Non-Medical Prescribing, specializing in the field of Nursing.
