Ronald Paulus

Ronald Paulus has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ronald currently serves as the President and CEO of Maribel Health, a technology-enabled operating partner for health systems. Ronald is responsible for designing, building, and operating advanced clinical care models in the home and community to improve patient access and expand total health system capacity.

Prior to their current role, Paulus worked as a Senior Scholar at Stanford University Clinical Excellence Research Center and as an Executive in Residence (XIR) at General Catalyst. Ronald also served as the President and CEO of RAPMD Strategic Advisors, LLC.

Paulus has held board positions at Sisters of Mercy Health System and Vocera Communications. Ronald was also a board member of Waystar, a healthcare organization that helps organizations improve their revenue cycle and patient payment experience.

In terms of leadership positions, Paulus was the President and CEO of Mission Health, a regional integrated delivery system in western North Carolina. During their tenure, Mission Health was recognized as one of America's "Top 15 Health Systems" for four consecutive years.

Paulus has also held positions as the Director at UNC Asheville and Carolina Day School.

Ronald Paulus began their education at Carlisle High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in the year 1980. Ronald then went on to The Wharton School, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from 1980 to 1984. During this time, they also attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1984 to 1988, earning their MD degree in Medicine. Additionally, they furthered their education in Health Care Management at The Wharton School, where they obtained an MBA degree from 1983 to 1988.
