Dr Jerome J Patience (PhD Public Management and Governance UJ)

Dr. Jerome J. Patience holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Management and Governance obtained from the University of Johannesburg and has extensive experience in budgeting and management accounting within municipal government. Since April 2008, Dr. Patience has served as a Budget and Management Accounting Specialist for the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and as Manager of Opex Budget and Management Accounting for the City of Ekurhuleni. Prior roles include Divisional Head of Revenue for the Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality and various positions in budgeting and management accounting since July 1998. Dr. Patience’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Public Management and Governance, BAdmin(Hons) with distinction, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Administration, among other qualifications.
