Brian Spicker

Brian Spicker is the current Foundation President/CEO at Maricopa Community Colleges. Brian has dedicated their career to helping others and fighting for social justice.

Spicker started their career as the Executive Director of the Phoenix Body Positve HIV/AIDS Resource & Research Center. Brian was instrumental in establishing a community based clinical trials program for HIV and providing a myriad of services and supports to individuals and families experiencing HIV/AIDS.

In 2002, Spicker joined Valley of the Sun United Way as the Chief Program Officer. In this role, they oversaw and managed the community impact programs of Valley of the Sun United Way. Valley of the Sun United Way is dedicated to Breaking the Cycle of Poverty through increasing school readiness, middle grade success and providing solutions for hunger, homelessness, and family financial stability. Spicker has helped lead many place-based strategies as well as collective impact strategies to create systemic change region-wide.
