Colleen Bivona

Colleen Bivona is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in grant development and management. Since July 2013, Colleen has served as the District Director of Grants Development and Management at Maricopa Community Colleges, leading the planning and writing of substantial federal and foundation grants, while also providing editing and technical assistance to faculty and staff proposals. Prior to this role, Colleen worked at Arizona State University from January 2006 to April 2013, where responsibilities included grant preparation, event management, and graduate student advising across various roles, including Program Manager for the School of Arts, Media and Engineering. Colleen's career also includes positions at Tufts University, where roles ranged from Concert Assistant to Teaching Assistant. Colleen holds a Master's degree in Anthropology and Museum Studies from Arizona State University, a Master's degree in Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Tufts University.
